What is TapeMeasure?
The iPhone version of your everyday tape measure. You can use it to measure anything in a horizontal orientation - for example a table, a piece of paper, a picture, everything in a hardware-store ...
How does it work?
Hit the "start"-button. Start in portrait-mode on the left side and position your iPhone with the scale at zero. Next turn your phone 90 degrees clockwise – you’ll notice that the screen turns as well. Procede until you’ve reached the endposition. For fine tuning use the sliding scale.
Is there another option than to turn the phone?
In fact there is: Use the landscape-mode. Fix the scale by pressing a finger on it. Then move your phone. This may even lead to more accurate results!
Can TapeMeasure be used for professional purposes?
Well ... TapeMeasure is considered as a fun tool. Due to the design of the phone the results may vary. For absolute accurate results we recommend using a "real" tape measure.
How can I save my measuring results?
When you are done measuring simply hit on of the "save"-button. You can save up to three results. In future updates there will be more options ...
