No tape measure at hand? No problem - you’ve got a swiss-knife disguised as a cellphone! And it comes with a measuring tool:

You start by putting your iPhone in an upright position on the left side of - let’s say a table. Then you turn your phone 90 degrees to the right. Go on and rotate it until you have reached the end. For fine-adjustment use the slider.

iTapeMeasure uses the lenght and the height of the iPhone to measure the covered distance. That means you have to rotate your iPhone until you have reached the endpoint.

As there are different kinds of measuring needs, we developed several ways to use this tool: e.g. you can lock the ruler with one finger and move the iPhone instead.

What’s new: Support for iPhone 1st gen and both iPod touch gadgets. Additionally we support any kind of protective case. You can define up to three cases. Centimeter or Inches-settings can now be chosen in the settings-menu.

Turn your iPhone to the right (several times if needed ) – then use the slider for fine adjustment.
